I am pretty happy with the response we have received so far for our team. It seems like the name is getting a little more respect. People are no longer surprised when they lose to us, and people are no longer looking at us as an easy game. Everywhere I have looked for the past week or so, people have been much more cautious and respectful and it is nice to see TSN still hates us, but we have been getting a lot of praise off of the NHL Network and analysts are starting to pencil us into their playoff pictures, the optimism and recognition is just reassuring regardless. TSN hates us but has us ranked at #4 in the power rankings?
Everyone has us rated high, they can't deny the stats. SI has us at 7, THN has us at 10, ESPN has us at 3, and TSN at 4. Either way, we are last page news anywhere else. The Kings could break a record and we will be reported on the following day and be on the bottom of the page
From what I've seen, Rangers go hard on the forecheck and pursue the puck aggressively. Kings have to be on their "A" game today, just as they were against the Blues. We have a size advantage up front and we need to use it. If that 2nd line ain't generating chances, they can at least provide energy and throw the body around.
Important thing for the Kings is to maintain composure whether they go down early or they get a lead. This season they seem to get pretty sloppy if they get a decent lead.
