Highlights from the game, not the highest quality though. Larsson is wearing jersey number 5.

Will be really interesting to see what damage he can do in the SEL this season.

Do they give out third assists nowadays in Skellefteå?

usually when players are on the ice when their team scores a goal they get +1.
larsson always gets the assist too, because the goal only happened because of his aura.

don't forget that with larsson, hockey is different. he's not just a hockey player, he's much more!

Stupid me, how could I forget the Larsson hypothesis, something you learn in kindergarten nowadays.

Edit: I use too much nowadays lately...

that will stop soon. people will call the present the "larsson age", just like in "do they hand out 3rd assists in skelleftea in the larsson age?"

In swedish:

http://nyheter24.se/sport/blogg/nikl...r-arets-rookie

Niklas Wikegård thinks Larsson could be named rookie of the year. He refers to him as "Like Rundblad, only even more talented".

Wikegård is the best hockey analyst/critic/tv-personality out there and Adam larsson is a future star

01.18 0-1 Adam Larsson assist Marcus Krüger och Oliver Ekman Larsson i power play spel fem mot fyra

now he's rocking the U20.

It seems like Adam Larsson was named player of the game in Swedens win over Czech Republic in the U20 tournamnet in Finland today. Sweden won the game 6-2 and Larsson had one assist.

Adam played another solid game today. That kid is so impressive, he plays with such an authority that can´t be taught. He sure has an interesting future ahead of him.

i watched the game on monday and he looked like an old vet. while rundblad and erixon looked like young players at times, which is ok, adam was so calm under pressure. the only thing i didn't like is that he took to many shots on PP. but that's something that could be useful on smaller rinks in NA.

No doubt. Larsson jokes aside, this guy is just incredible isn't he? To think he's not even in his draft year yet is just mind-boggling.

i can't remember a 16y old that amazed me this much. he's something special. he looks so calm, he makes good choiced and if i didn't know it, i would never think he's a 16y old rookie. especially when you can compare him to the other two young Ds who are 2 years older.
and while he takes to many shots and often gets blocked, the shooting mentality will be exactly what will make him a star in north america. he will shoot the lights out.

i don't really like comparing prospects to superstars, larsson is simply larsson, but i can say that this kid is something very special. and it's very nice that he will play in sweden until at least 2011.

He's fantastic on the blue line. I'm not sure he's let even a single puck get past him during PP, he catches them all. Also, his timing is just sick, how can a 16 year old make such perfect decisions every single time?

Two PP goals tonight in 4-2 win against Timrå.

edit: About the shooting part, I do feel that Rundblad is normally better than Larsson in that regard, he just haven't been mentally there this far in the season.

larsson on PP reminds me of someone else. a swedish defender currently in the NHL. but i better not put his name here.

another thing i like about him is being with SAIK. smaller team, lots of IT. on most others teams he would still wait for his chance i bet.

Highlights from the game (pretty decent goal by Christian Söderström BTW) from the technically worthless site Hockeyligan. Larsson scores the first two:

I think former NHL:er Niclas Havelid can testify that this 16YO Larsson-kid actually knows how to fire a slapshot. Well, shotblocking by head may indicate that...no, Im not gonna go down the evil road...
