Hopefully Wilson will learn fast that if you have a longish but decent shot on the powerplay, or the option of passing in front to an open Erat. Take the shot.

Wonder how many goals the Hawks will score in the third.

I'm guessing four.

I wonder if there's another fan base that's as collectively jaded as we are right now.

Or celebrated as hard over 1 goal and an entire period with no goals against?

I'm not jaded. I think there's a chance Poile will pick up a scorer at the trade deadline.

Hamhuis and Klein have sucked all year. Klein in particular doesn't look like he belongs in the NHL.

I could have sworn Wilson hit the goalie with a shot. Yet he is shown as having no shots. Huh. My mind is going.

This would be HUGE if we can come out strong and get the first goal of the period.

GO PREDS!!

I can't tell really, but my impression Hammer was playing decently. Klein is still scary.

Rinne! Come on Laakso, I want to keep my avatar...

We get what feels like four minutes of solid pressure, they get 20 seconds. They score.

Don't worry, I don't have a Klein avatar. There's room for both of ours. Laakso isn't playing as well as I expected, but unfortunately Klein is...

How the heck did Sulzer miss the team if our defense is this weak? Sounds like he's got his mojo back in Milwaukee.

Even though we are playing better this is still the same old boring Preds hockey. With the limited chances we get we have no finishers. I think it's not good when 6 games in I'm already tired of watching the team.

Even counting missed and blocked shots the "top" line has five.

They haven't done much this game. Two shots on net.

Do we practice any? I mean, I know there's practice scheduled, and rumor has it, some folks have actually gone out to watch them practice, but do we really do anything while out there?

Really, we look like 20 or so guys who decide to show up at the Sommet Center every few nights, not a one of them knows what one of the others is doing, and few know what they're doing.

Other teams have set systems, and it shows.

We spend 60 minutes doing absolutely nothing on the ice except skating around in circles, sometimes, with the puck (for a short while). Don't play defense, don't play offense, special teams isn't special, and we can't goaltend. What do we do?
