No one from the Wings would have fought Ivanans.

I'm pretty sure Lombardi's job is tied to Murray's so he's not going to get fired IMO. Lombardi blew his freebie on the cesspool that is Crawford.

The Kings had moments of sustained pressure on Detroit which was good to see, but for the most part they contained the first line nicely, and unfortunately that is where the scoring has been coming from.
It was nice to see Brown get a goal.
Doughty is so young and in his sophmore year. A slow start but i'm sure he'll get it going.
Johnson has been looking good this season.

I would have like to have seen Ivanans make Cleary eat his own skate.

Fortunately Frolov had plenty of company in the suck department tonight. Smyth, Stoll, Doughty, Handzus, Greene, and Purcell's games were all sprinkled with *********.

So far this season the Kings have either looked like a young, exciting playoff team or the team from last season. I don't like the team from last season.

Right now we're pretty much a one line team, eventually that line will be shut down.

I'd like to see Frolov on the 2nd line, there's not enough puck between him, Zeus and Simmonds on that "checking unit."

What's happening to DD, he's been absolutely brutal on a few plays this season. One thing is certain - he's still useless on the powerplay.

Are you on drugs or new to hockey?
Stuart would loose a fight against a little girl.
Lilja & Kronwall would just pull a "Staubitz" that is coward runaway.

Harrold should stayed out of the lineup. Why does Harrold get playing time ahead of Clune is beyond me.

This team needs to hit more and our pp needs to get into gear. I'm not a fan of Williams being on the point.

The Wings only have had 1 fight this year, which was with Brad May saying thank you for signing me. May wasn't dressed tonight. They only had 11 fighting majors ALL of last year. They don't fight, but they bait teams into giving them PPs, and we all saw how much the refs enjoy doing that.

Lilja is out with a concussion. Stuart would get demolished and Kronwall never fights.

You're only as good as your weakest link.

The PP and the PK stink. I think the coaching staff have a day in Columbus tomorrow to make some changes. In the meantime I think we can all agree on the fact that Williams on the point is stupid and that Jack Johnson needs more time on the powerplay. Do your magic Jamie Kompon!!!

Hey guys wings fan here. I was kinda torn this game cuz I just picked up Quick and Doughty in my pool and I was pretty pissed at your coach for sitting the winning (hot) goalie against the rags and starting Quick with a team that had played the night before against a Wings team that was embarrassed by Buffalo the other night and wanted to try to prove a point.

That said, you guys got hosed on the wings third (?) goal when Stoll got that holding penalty when Draper obviously was holding his stick. Don't know why the refs hate you cuz you got screwed last night too with that bs review.

(Oh, and just to add, everybody gets screwed by the refs. The more I watch, the more I realize the refs just suck. The Wings definitely got hosed in the playoffs last year against the Pens and against the Ducks. Anybody remember when Hossa tied the game against Anaheim by scoring with less than a minute left, but the ref blew the whistle (after the puck was in the net) because he "lost sight of it" even though it was sitting in a spot of wide open ice and he was in a bad position? No goal...wonder what happened to that ruling last night?

Back to back I didn't think we were going to win anyways. I think it's time we stop raving about Doughty and start realizing he's going to have a rough sophomore season.

Something that's bothered me the last 3 games.

The Kings refuse to use the point shot at even strength, yet on the PP, they can't seem to do anything but go for point shots and deflections. Mix it up!

I think the team is starting to rely way too much on our first line..

3 games in 4 nights. Not much you can do for the Kings.

2-2 on the road so far though, so that's not all that bad really. Getting six points out of this trip would be excellent, frankly.
