If he can't go, Latendresse will play on one of the top two lines and Stewart on the fourth.

FINALLY, dago on a top line where he belongs. he has the speed and a shot to have success there. and he isnt afraid to drive to the net if he has to.

keep lats off the top 2 lines...he will slow and drag the play down so much. i rather he just play on the pp.

also time to move andrei or cammy to the point on the pp.

You have got to be kidding right? What the heck has D'Ags done to earn even playing on the team this year? He has been beyond invisible the entire pre-season and the first games of the season. D'Ags deserves one thing only, and that's to be sent to the farm, unfortunately he won't as he needs to clear waivers and it's not like the team is willing to part with him.

D'agostini may have been playing on line #2 in practice, but Paccioretty will probably be good to go for the game, sooo you will see him back up there. Although the way he has been playing.....does he deserve to be there? Or is he only there because he was a 1st round choice? We should not be rushing this guy.....we should bring him along slowly.....he's only 20 years old....and sooo far he has not looked like he belongs in our top 6 at the NHL level.

I agree, he has been invisible! I know it must be frustrating to play with BGL & Chip because you'll never control the puck but he must show more determination, no matters with who he's been paired with... However, I disagree with sending him down for the reason you stated above

We don't want Sergei because he Kosts us with stupid penalties and he's only interested in ****-N-drugs.

Well, after the stupid penalties part probably isn't true, but he does take stupid penalties.

I thought he played his best game of the season last night. Kind of an odd time to say something like that.

I expect Pacioretty will be back with Pleks and AKost tomorrow (they were the best line last night) and D'Agostini will sit.

There's nothing wrong with either Dagger or Patches playing on 3rd or 4th lines in a checking role. Maybe their timing & poise aren't enough to be producing with top 6 but there are still talented guys who can improve their 2-way game on a 4th line role while they adjust to NHL pace & eventually top 6 play. They don't necessarily have to be shipped back to Hamilton.

i made that comment because if dagostini is not on the top 2 lines he has ZERO reason to even be on the team. Is he here for defense? toughness? no he is here to score goals. im sure putting him with BGL, chips, stewart and lapierre will really help him score right? who is supposed to pass him the puck?

remember when he had success last year? he played with saku and akost. so its no surprise he isnt doing anything productive right now.

my biggest problem with carbo last year was not putting his players in a position to have success. JM is doing to exact same thing. dags will never do anything productive on a 4th line. that is not his role nor his style.

moen being on the 1st line just removes another option for gomez. its basically a 2 man line with gionta. its nice to reward hard work but moen should not be on the 1st line at any time.

Dags hasn't driven hard to the net since about his 5th NHL game. He's been a huge disappointment in the NHL and he's softer than tissue paper.
