Habs lose 5th straight

Against a strong Ottawa team with a strong Leclaire and Kovalev.

Slice it the way you want, use all the excuses possible, the Habs are NOT one of the best 8 teams of the East this season...not even close.

this team needs to understand that Price
will give up an average of 3 goals per game
but can they score 4 to win
i dnt believe it.

We aren't going to win with our brutal offensive though. Ovechkin has been part of more goals this year then our entire team. Habs - 15 goals. Ovechkin (at least) 16 points.

Price has made some great saves in this game, I don't know how you can possibly keep nitpicking. Maybe this is a concept you fail to understand, but very rarely do goalies put up great stats while stealing every game in which they play. It's a ****ing team game and always has been.

Are we becoming the Florida Panthers of two years ago?

About Price, granted he wont always be stellar but he isnt letting 4/5 goals every game.. On average 3. A hockey team should on average score 3 goals.. wtf is going ON!?!

Playing 20 minutes just like last year. Yeah for culture change. Congratulations Mr. Gainey.

Really getting tired of....come out flying in the first, get tons of chance, but still give up the first goal and never recover.

I still believe this team is a top 4 team in the east. If we can stay in the top 8 while Markov is out, look out. We will come on like gangbusters!

1-12 in our last 13 games without Markov

MVP of the league!!! no player in the league has as much impact as him.

The way I see it, if the Martin can't change the culture of the team (play 60 mins, score goals, play defense... basically play hockey), this season will be over real soon, and we'll be looking forward to the draft. Thank god we chose this year to suck, because 2011 is a weak crop of young talent. We have the big guns signed for 5 more years, lets see what the kids are made of. D'Agostini, Pacioretty, Chipchura... etc. Let's go.

What's frustrating, is that this team with Markov is going to be too strong to stay in the bottom of the standings anyway.

Would be great to get a Taylor Hall, a Cam Fowler or a Kabanov, though.

Looked like a lot of running around in our own end, too many PP given up and or PP stinks....top 2 lines need a big skilled body, bottom two lines need to contribute and need to show up. The D is awful, you can see we are missing Markov and O'Byrne big time!

Gainey if I were you I would think you should do something sooner, rather than later and a call up from the farm isn't the answer.

They should have BLOWN the Sens away in the first, but without Kovalev to snipe on the powerplay, well you know. We had a 2 min 5 on 3 and got 3 shots
