Frolov to Habs?

http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=295401

Frolov would seriously help our top 6, he has size and oozes skill. Plus he's russian. C'mon Bob get her done.

Lets do this.. without giving A. Kostitsyn.

Frolov-Plek-A. Kost looks good.

Honestly, I wouldn't. He had a great year with Cammy in 06/07 - Unless they don't like each other, I could see this being a great fit. But - who would you trade? Frolov for Akost is pretty much like trading 4 quarters for a dollar....

Both Kosty's for Frolov in a nanosecond.

Max Pac - Gomez - Gionta

Cammy - Pleks - Frolov

I'm drooling thinking about Frolov and Cammy on the same line, drooling I say!

I'd rather try and offer Dagostini, and Sergei Kostitsyn first. I'd prefer to keep AK, I'd might even add a pick or Chipchiura to get it done.

I like the idea of Frolov, but seeing Maxpac on the first line is a no-no. Hells to the no-no.

I'd much rather a

Andrei / Sergei - Gomez - Gionta
Cammy - Pleks - Frolov

Thats alot of top 6 talent. Let Patches learn his way in the A, or pick it up on the third line a la Tenderness. He's not first line material.

We still have Max Pac on the first with your trade tho. I'd rather keep Andrei, who's STARTING to do some good thing, and send LA other assets. What assets, that I don't know but something could be work on if they're not happy with him.

We need to stop keeping Max Pac on the first line. I doubt he would even be playing on the first line in Hamilton. I like him and all but he hasnt done **** so far on any line. Putting him on our first line make it weak. We need a top 6 forward to complete with Gomez, Gionta, Cammalleri, Plekanec and A. Kostitsyn. Having Max Pac on our first line will not fix anything. It should be:

Cammalleri-Gomez-Gionta
Frolov-Plekanec-A. Kostitsyn

Or

A. Kostitsyn-Gomez-Gionta
Frolov-Plekanec-Cammalleri

L.A like more big body players. To get a guy like Frolov I'm pretty sure L.A would do Latendresse and 2nd for Frolov straight up, though I don't think many here would like that.

Frolov Gomez Cammalleri
Andrei Plekanec Gionta
Moen Lappiere Chipchura(true shutdown line)
Stewart Metropolit Laraque/D'agostini

Frolov's value cannot be that high after a benching like this. Though the competition for his services may jack up his price.

I'd go without TV/Radio/Newspaper for at least a week just to avoid the torture.

but you'd have to admit, it be pretty worth it.

Frolov is a great player, especially since he's had chemistry with Cammy I think Gainey needs to go after him.

He's great at protecting the puck downlow.
