Damn, I wish I went to this game. I usually drive down to Dallas for Kings games (from Oklahoma City area), but tonight was just bad for me.

No, I was actually on the exact opposite side, same end, as he. The girlfriend pointed him out to me. That whole row was Kings fans, however, I noticed fewer Kings fans than previous games/years. I have to say, this was the smallest turn out of Kings fans I've seen since I can remember. Granted, I didn't make any games last season since I was living in Chicago and Montano.

Jekyll and Hyde. When I turn on the game I have no idea what the Kings will look like. Thankfully, I missed the Columbus game.

You should've seen it though, the guy with the huge crown started video taping stars fan after the game in the hallways! Some lady flipped him off!

Holy ****... we don't play again in Dallas until March? I'm going to be out of the country by then. Tonight was my last chance to see the Kings live for a few years and didn't go. I'm kicking myself hard right now. GOD DAMN IT

Whoa, a Kings fan in Dallas man that's freakin awesome. But anyways just finished watching the highlights on Lakings.com and from looking at this picture, man has the economy really affected everyone this bad? Cause there's like no one at the game. Maybe it's a Monday? I was at opening night for the kings and it was packed but does the Staple Center look like this too? I'm starting to worry about the state of this game. I believe Phoenix had like 3 people at their opening night. Sheesh.

Not sure I agree. I'm not ready to let go of the one guy who will always stand up for his teammates. Simmonds will too but Ivanans has more of a rep and I'd like to preserve the safety of our players or at least prevent them from being roadkill on the ice. The others are showing more of a unity but I"m not fully convinced they're all there yet 100%. His skill or lack there of is easy to see, but I still think we need him until we get more middleweights on the ice.

Kings currently rank 22nd in overall attendance according to ESPN so far. http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/attendance?year=2010

Williams played great tonight. He would have had 2 more if they did not hit the goal posts.

The PP definitely needs more puck movement.

Totally agree with you about Ivanans. He's not that great of a player but is a legit heavyweight and is pretty intimidating. That's all we need him to do actually. However, ummm I love Simmonds but he hasn't stood up for anyone since he's been here. Not that I've seen at least. Sorry he's a tough kid but just not a mean guy. Most of his fights happened when he is challanged. Correct me if I'm wrong but I've never seen him actually go after anyone. I just wish he would have a little bit more of an edge to his game. Just my observations.

.500 on the longest road trip of the season? I'll take it!

And how many posts did they hit tonight? My god.

Hopefully they give Dallas the beat-down again on Thursday. We've got to take care of teams in our own division. That, and seeing Crawford annoyed is priceless.

Phoenix sold out their opening night. They discounted their tickets quite a bit, but all the seats were sold.

Okay yeah your right. Maybe I'm thinking about another game, because someone made a thread on it and actually put up a picture, and there was like literally about 1000 people at the game. It was Odd to see an NHL game that empty.
