Thoughts about Jesse Schultz

Jesse Schultz signed for "my" team in the swedish second division today, I would like to know your opinions about him.

I know that he has played 2 games in the NHL for Vancouver, but how far away was/is he from being a NHL-player in terms of skills? What's his pros and cons? His stats in the AHL looks pretty good, 37 goals in 05/06 is impressive!

Every info is much appriciated. Thanks.

His skills were very on par minus his skating. At one point management coined him as the next potential Sedin's linemate. That was a mistake but his goal scoring ability is definitely there.

In the second division he should be a very good hockey player.

He would be a good player in the SEL as well and should excel in the second tier

I was a season ticket holder for the Aeros last year and I thought he played well, seemed to get better as the season progressed. Enjoy having Jesse Schultz on your team.

Some people think he looks kinda lazy, but he has 2+2 in 4 games so far, that's not bad considering it usually takes time for players to adapt to the big ices.
