Great game, but to be realistic, we we're playing the worst team in the league (unless you're still considering the Leafs an NHL team) playing in back to back games.

* Isn't it awesome to light up Biron? I'll never forgive him for that playoff series.

* Everyone looked good. I might be in the minority but I think the Akost bashing has been baseless since the Western swing. He is a notorious slow starter, but he has been good in my eyes. He obviously has another gear and once he hits it look out.

* Special teams finally looked awesome, both PP and PK

* Halak or Price Saturday? I'd go with Halak.

* Saturday will be telling. Another win vs NYR and things should really start rolling

Enjoy the win lads!

I wish that was the M.Biron we had to face in the playoffs in '08 and not the lucky guy who stopped everything..

Solid effort, all the way around. Too bad about the shutout being broken by a cheeser, but nice to see the offense light it up.

Great to see Pacioretty wake up...
The PP started burying those chances.
Cammy gets a much deserved goal.
Gomez once again played like a chief.
Pleks still had a great offensive game.
Minus his fault, Halak was rock solid.
Bergeron is money on the PP.

I honestly can't say there is one player on the team I didn't like tonight.. everyone worked hard and played good.

Halak was perfect outside his Brisebois/Gill esque brainfart.

Bergeron was ****ing incredible. The guy is a beast in the offensive zone - He'd be amazing beside Markov. Maybe someone will want Gill at the trade deadline for the playoffs since we'd have so much defensive depth (Markov, Mara, Spacek, Gorges, Hamrlik - with O'Byrne and Bergeron fighting for the #7 spot).

Admittedly, Gill played his best game as a Montreal Canadien tonight - the only thing that sucks is that he was probably still the worst Hab with Latendresse (who was also decent).

I hope that Chipchura and Patches can keep up. If they become factors, we are better off, because our previous 3rd line sucked.
