If they would have lost this game I would have had to buy a new dog.

Why did the referees hate Neal? (the phantom holding call and waving off his goal)

Solid game up until the 3rd period.
Quick needs to get it together, we need above average goaltending if we stand a chance at post-season.

Mainly Quick. Anze's 1st and 2nd goal was nice. I otta say that Dallas Defense weren't great either so Auld was so-so. Zeus goal at the end was his fault though.

Quick needs to get his inconsistency in check real...Quick.
Other notes:
- Kopitar. Nothing needs to be said.
- Brown with a great game. Typical Brownie tonight.
- Simmonds, Handzus and Frolov all had strong games.
- Johnson, Doughty and Scuderi were rocks on the back end.
- Purcell did his best tonight to upstage Quick as the worst Kings performance, but did not do so.

How did Smyth not get an assist on the GW?
He was the whole reason the puck was in the zone.

Really? All of Quick's goals were freakin unassisted goals. Dallas just took shots on him. Not single close shot went in, all far out.

Because Smyth lost the puck, the Dallas D man slapped it back to Zues(negating assist), rest is history.

Kopitar has some sick skill....lets not get to giddy on the win though. Ref's kind of helped on that 2nd goal and Quick was not great at all.

Bad game by Quick, luckily Kopitar decided to dominate as usual today. Glad we got the 2 points, very unhappy Dallas walked away with 1... Put it behind us and let's toughen up for the Yotes, should be a crazy game, much more difficult than the Stars.

I don't see many giddy people around here that the Stars walked away with a point all from long range perimeter shots. Kopitar is about the only thing to really be giddy about that game.

Has to be Flu. Why would the Kings get rid of him?

If a half way decent goalie was in net for LA then Dallas would not have scored......2 of the goals were from the blue line.

It's something fundamentally wrong with Quick's game, which is the scary thing. He's extremely strong down low, because he's flexible and can really stretch out his body. But he tends to do that at every shot, which opens up his top corners really, really big.
I thought our defense played above average if not very solidly. Goaltending will truly haunt this team all season, which sucks.
I'm not ready to jump on the call up Bernier bandwagon, regardless of his stats in the AHL. But Quick needs to get it together, and fast. Because the Kings are only going to get lucky like this so many times before Quick solely loses us a game, and it's a downward spiral from there.

They were lasers and i don't think it had anything to do with Quick. The 2 shots painted in the corner.
