Now now, we won the first game without him 4-1.

Not saying your point isn't valid, but we also gave up 6 goals in a game with Hejda in the line-up. In fact, every loss we have, we've given up 6 goals.

This is about much more than one player. Porty put it best in the game recap, our stellar special teams masked our very poor 5 on 5 play up until last night.

Well, last night it was 1 line that did it to us. We missed Hejda big time last night. Bad enough to give 1 player 5 points, but for 2 to get it is really bad.

Ah! You have seen right through my veiled attempt to stir things up.

Actually, I just had my time frame off and forgot he didn't play against LA.

Again, I'll stress it was as much Brassard and Nash's fault for some of the lackadaisical play as anyone else. Even Hejda couldn't have helped that.

I agree with you - let's just not try to pin the fault on something that really doesn't address what's going on here.

I agree, just saying we really did miss Hejda on the back end.

Yeah...but if you remember not one of those goals was scored while Hejda was on the ice! He's the freaking man, damn you Glencross.
