Garrison was back with Panthers, replacing Allen. That leads into question how is Allen's knee:
A: it's perfect (like before season started)
B: it's manageable (after season started)
C: it's not 100% (it requires rest, after season continues)

I fear Allen knee wont ever be good again. He rested it for a year and it's still not good? Yikes

Do we have any kinda tough guy down in Rochester? Duco the best we got?

Pete said before the season started that they would hold Allen out of the second game of back to backs for the first month or two without question, then see where the knee is at after that. They are just being cautious and don't want to push Allen's knee too much, which I think is a good thing. Why push it? Allen's knee most likely WILL be fine as long as they are careful with it.

It takes a while to get your conditioning and game timing back when you miss a year of hockey like that. You can see in the last few games Allen is improving, his mobility too. I think he'll be alright, as long as we're patient with him.
