Highest level of hockey played (if you play): Bantam/Midget
How long/reason you became a Hawks fan: First followed hockey in 1967 growing up in Connecticut, and knew of the Bruins (both parents from Boston area). Moved to northern suburb of Chicago in '68. Started playing hockey and baseball (you can see where this is going...)...and have yet to see the Hawks or Cubs win a title

. A few times growing up, my mom took me to watch the Hawks practice at Northfield ice arena. The players would come out after practice and sign autographs for hours. I have many autographs from the '69-'72 teams, and memories of meeting the players while getting them, including a couple of really fine ones with Bobby Hull. Back in the day, Hawks games were broadcast on WGN TV, and if not, I listened to games on the radio. I lived and died by the Hawks and Cubs back then, and have a better perspective on things now...I expect less and hope for more.
BTW, back then there was no such thing as "dangling". It was called stick handling, and Orr was King, and the best player I've ever seen.
