5 extra time wins in first 11 games...that has to be some sort of record.

Gainey has to get rid of his no contracts during the season and get him re-signed, if not his value is so high so you better get something in return because Souray and Ryder walking for free hurt too much.

Pretty clear what confidence does to you, see Chipchura and Kostitsyn.

Kostitsyn needs to see some PP time. Only way he'll get it going once again.

Isles came to play tonight, we weren't that ready. Another good game by Halak. Metropolit is a beast. Streit was awful defensively. And their 2nd goal should have NEVER happen, Streit's high stick was so obvious prior to the goal.

In the end, we won, that's the only thing important.

You definitely weren't watching the game.

I simply can't wait to see Markov in this lineup so I can climax.

Good win. The referees made me yell a couple of times ; they were inconsistent as hell.

Islanders played a solid road game and gave the Habs some troubles. They were a couple of bounces away of getting away with this one.

Who is hating Price? He has more starts.

Halak is winning, Price is not bigger than the team.

Plekanec's play was koivu-like (lot of fighting to get trough the islanders)...

Go have a look at the goalie thread, and where do I say Price is bigger than the team ?

Good preserverance in that game when the bounces and calls weren't going their way. Could have easily let this game go sour, looked like it might happen.

Anyone notice how well Chipchura passes the puck through the seams? Always threads the needle to find an open man, its really great to see.

7-1 in the penalty department. The Isles score 2 on the PP, without that they were not in the same league. We just didn't bury our chances.

Oilers set a record in 07-08 with 13 shootout wins (don't know what they finished with) but thats a lot!

Those 2 odd-man rushes he broke up were epic.
