Best Beat Writer Blog ?

Just wanted to know who you guys read to get info from ?
(reliable, insightful, frequency of updates)

Preferable a beat writer since they usually have dedicated updates and access to practices.

Zipay & Gross are the best. However, with Newsday becoming a pay site soon (unless you're newsday or optimium subscriber) I'd say Gross is the best bet.

Gross for sure.

I'd love to sit around and write about the Rangers all day.

Andrew Gross easily. And since Newsday is now charging people, Zipay is going to lose a lot of readers but he would be a close 2nd.

Since Sam is gone, I'd have to say Gross. His tweets are usually always first as well. Zipay is right behind him on that front, but Gross just seems to do a better job.

Used to love Sams coverage. After that i thought Zipay did a terrific job. (and still does) Carp is third, but hes good too with some great stories from the past the others dont share, or havent experienced. Obernauer was a distant 4th until recently when he has started to post more. Dont forget about Cerny either whos passed along some great stuff as well.

Gross came in and I'm going to give him the edge because he really ramped it up in training camp and in preseason. He was posting something every two seconds for us and it was good stuff too, not fluff.

Blueshirt Bulletin has fallen off the map (online) as far as im concerned. Dubi is retiring and i was very disappointed in their training camp coverage which for the past 5 years and beyond had been hands down the best. With the arrival of Twitter and all of the blogs, its good to be a hockey fan these days. This offseason was flooded with up to date information and rumors and it made it more exciting and informative than ever.

My vote goes to my hometown Record writer.

Sam was the best, never really got around to liking Carp.

I hate Twitter so i just check here, usually there are more anal and fast posters here. I have the NYT blog on my rss reader, but almost never read it.
