I really think Gainey should do something about all these completely ficticious rumors coming out of Montreal lately. He should start revoking press credentials for members of the media who are so irresponsible.
What credentials?! It's a COMEDY radio show. They just talk about he Habs because they are popular, they know as much about the team as any guy on the street. What do you want Bob to do, complain to the CRTC for them to shut down their station?!

I remeber watching "Off The Record" and they had a french reporter on, don't remember his name, but he said Gainey tore him a strip after he came out with an unsubstantiated story. I wonder how often that happens and if he just says **** it one day and revoked their credentials.
Due to NHL media relations Bob and Habs would be fined a ton of cash not allowing media access to the dressing room.
But Gainey has to pull a Burke and go Irish (I'm Irish so no harm, no foul) on some of these idiot media types!

Well I'm a fan of both CP and JH. I find this competition between them interesting and fun (in purely sportive way). Both are good goalies. Both have shown good performances. I want CP to play the Pens though. I feel that if JM keeps playing JH, CP is not going to like that (he prob doesn't already) and this will cause more drama. But JH is looking very solid and deserves to play after all of the previous seasons he's been put aside.
I'm surprised I have not read or heard of more Sergei K. rumors. For a guy who officially has been said to be on the block, there have been nothing heard...
Chicago is doing well so I don't see why they would want to trade anyone now unless Toews is more seriously injured then expected. But Price isn't going to score goals and isn't really going to replace Toews. So if Chicago trades, I don't see it being for Price.
St. Louis, Detroit, Anaheim, Nashville and Minnesota are all teams at the bottom of the West who are struggling to score goals.. Anaheim seems to have problems in goals...
So a team like Anaheim may be looking to shake thing up in every department.

Hmm, i didn't know the team would be fined. Though you have to admit. There should be some sort of petition to stop media from meddling too much, its getting disgusting and pathetic. Its also causing players to want to not sign here.

There would be some fine, but I believe if Gainey wanted to keep some out and talked to the NHL he maybe able to get permission to keep out certain people.

Pretty sure, that a 50 year old woman, called on Team 990 today, and said " Price, Gorges, and a first for Barker and Sharp". Yep..thats the only Price to Chicago rumor I heard, and it was a joke on her part.

Actually he never wanted to say the words "Je suis" because that means "I follow" in French and would have meant he would be saying crazy stuff like "I follow Andrei Kostytsyn" wich was crazy since he was that guy and couldnt follow himself logically unless he lead and since he doesnt want to lead..(big breath inhalation) well you get the pictur and i need a drink.
like seriously why do the media have to create goalie controversy.. most public opinion around me is that "ride the hot goalie", but then you have TSN makig an article about goalie controversy, and then rds making up, or publicizing goalie controversy... seriously, media is so nonconstructive to this team.
