The US government has been like this for long time, even well before 9/11. I'm an American born and bred citizen (from Indiana) and traveled to Europe a few times in the late 80s and 90s, and every time I came back, it was such a hassle to just get through customs. There were always a bunch of questions about what I was doing there, how long I was there, etc., and I felt like they didn't want me back. If they do this to an American citizen, I can only imagine what it's like to try to emigrate, work, etc., here.

Good skater, poised with the puck, good shot and a good passer. In the new NHL players like this should be gold worth. Seeing as he can defend as well.

Good luck to him and you blue jackets.

This deal will come back and haunt both the Leafs and Calgary
Thanks for that one. Great post. Good to see a fan of another team wishing him the best.

Ha, ha. Gave me a laugh!

USI: "Ok, so you're coming to work here?
AS: "I already got a job"
USI: "Nice! Welcome! Here's your visa!"
AS: "I've got a family too."
USI: "No way! If that's the case, **** OFF!"

I think so far he's been exactly as advertised: A booming right handed slapshot, a presence on the PP, but sometimes out of position and not so good on defense.

So far, I like him. He brings things we lack. Needs to be tougher.

He is playing for a man who stresses defense, so he's either going to figuire it out and be top 4 d-man or he'll be gone in a year or two.

Ah, thanks. I will try and catch a game soon to see for my self as well.
He have never been a physical defenseman but I always though he read the game pretty well so he could defend anyway by being at the right place. But there is one thing defending in the SEL and a whole other thing defending against NHL calibre forwards. Hopefully he catch up.
