Pre Concussion Bergeron is better.

If he can return to that form, he'll be the better player imo.

If...if and if.

Pre Concussion, unfortunately, living in the present, its post concussion and its Brad Boyes pretty much no brainer for me.

Bergeron might more well rounded but his offensive game stepped down a notch.

Boyes is a good sniper.

Two completely different players. I really like Bergeron, when he' ok, he's extremelly good player with excellent defensive skills, good offensive power... but i'd take Boyes for Carolina. We need another goalscorer .

I voted Bergeron, he seems to have fully recovered from his concussion and is leading the Bruins in scoring.

When they were playing together on the Bruins top line back in 05/06, Bergeron was 10X the player in just about every aspect of the game. It's unfortunate how the concussion stinted his development.

Given his performance these past two seasons, you'd have to give the edge to Boyes.

Bergeron is playing GREAT hockey right now though, so that could just as easily change with another month of him playing this beastly all around game. The Bruins are 2-0-1 with him as their first line center btw.

Bergeron has been and can be better, but he has to prove it again conclusively. Until then, it's Boyes, whose overall play is severely, gasp, underrated.

This. I voted for Bergeron but that was a bit of a mistake. Until Bergeron maintains his offensive game the answer is Boyes.

Right. There's a lot of If's.

But Bergeron has outplayed Boyes so far this season, and has demonstrated a higher peak. It's not a wild jump to assume this trend will continue.

This.

He has been looking amazing so far this season, especially since Savard got hurt. He really looks like how he looked before his concussion. Boyes is the better scorer but Bergeron is the better all around player who can win face offs, play on the PK, play with a 1 goal lead with a minute to go, play on the PP, score goals, set up plays, throw hits, and since last year's playoffs, we now know he has a mean left hook.

Brad Boyes, but being a Bruins fan I can't bring myself to vote that way. Bergeron's more of an all around, playmaker kind of guy and Boyes is a goal scorer. I'd take goals.

Blues beat the B's in that trade (Brad Boyes for Dennis Wideman). Stupid hindsight.

Like both players and would kill to have them on the Canes. Up to this point in their careers, I'll say Boyes, but if Bergeron relly has regained form then he's better. Right now, I'll say even, with a lot of buts and if thrown in.
