The return of Zanon and Zidlicky, the killer Z's

These guys are 0-8 on the road, if we don't win tonight there will be much weeping and gnashing of teeth

I'm trying to convince myself there's entertaining reasons to tune in tonight. It's not just low scoring that is an issue. I don't mind a tough defensive hockey battle at all. In fact I had hopes we'd be delivering a lot of tough defense this year and win many of them that way.

But lately watching the Preds is like the darker days of U.S. soccer. You go into a match knowing there won't be many goals, it's soccer, but it gets old when it's always the other side getting the one or two that are scored.

I guess I'll tune in to see what new line combos we roll.

I can't believe Brunette is off to that kind of scoring start, wow. I see the thread says three goals and ten points, but I notice the stats on Yahoo say 7 goals and 3 assists. ?

For those of you with the Dish Network Center Ice package, the game is on channel 636... I hope it is at least shown in HD (like on DirecTV's Center Ice).

I hope we can contain Havlat -- he always seems to rack up tons of points against the Preds.

Here's to a relatively exciting game, 7-6 Preds in OT! What?

Not sure if I'll be watching tonight or not. I can stream it, but I've also been invited out to a bar. They don't have center ice. Hang out with women or watch the last hockey game for a while that we have a decent shot at winning... hmmm

In other news, I thought I had swine. Turns out I am just getting sick from the drastic climate change.

Oh and I made the girlfriend a hockey fan.

Good job! Unfortunately Memphis dudes aren't falling for it. I'd rather be single for the rest of my life than date a guy who isn't into hockey.

Nashville wins...

5-3

Two goals from the Sullivan-Wilson-Hornqvist line @ EV
One goal from the Erat-Santorelli-Ward line @ EV
One goal from the defense and
One goal from the PP.

The team will give up two power play goals and 1 EV goal.

We'll give up two powerplay goals on one powerplay, though.

i'm not going to pretend this is for any other reason than fantasy...

But who is starting tonight? I figured Ellis would be, because he's played well the last 2 games. But most sources are saying "Rinne is likely"

Rinne tonight against a lesser Minnesota team, Ellis tomorrow against a much stronger Chicago team, IMO.
