I hope the send both the video of the punch and the verbal altercation (shows intent) they had when Chimera was skating of the ice. Smells like a suspension to me.

Haha, maybe Fro picked up a little bit of trash talk from His best friend before he got traded.

According to Hammond:

Scuderi fined, not suspended. CBJ fans' heads to explode. Ok, Rich didn't write that last part.

Wayne Gretzky.

Scorers who shoot alot get those lucky bounces. Put the puck at the net, crash the net and get more goals. The whole team bought in and it showed its merit last night against a very good goalie. Hats off to the boys, Great to see Frolov break out too.

As for the Scud attack on Chimera, that's called a hipcheck. Yes he went low, but I don't believe that is prohibited by the rules of hockey. It looked far worse than it was because Chimera's own momentum carried him over and he bounced his face on the ice.
I would be shocked (well not really) if he got any suspension for that hit.

So much more fun to watch than last season. Keep it up!
15 years ago, 5 of those hipchecks happened per game.

Totally agree. Even Nick Nickson said it was clean.

One of my favorite Kings of all time, Jay Wells, threw many a hipcheck, and he was one of the best at it in the game back then. The true hipcheck is like a lost art. But like good pornography, when you see it, you recognize it immediately!!!

People had asked about a youtube for the sucker punch on Frolov.

Here it is, along with the rest of the nastiness from that game.

I wanted that video, but now that I have it, I hate it. Just so gutless. What if Frolov went into the boards wrong? Not to mention it is Alexander Frolov... Frolov deserves retaliation about as much as Ersberg does... Frolov's toughness is set at franchise jersey pincher during a scrum. He stands there and holds onto someone's jersey. That's it. Just so infuriating. Especially considering the Kings didn't respond physically. I kinda liked them avoiding it at first and winning the hockey game, but then it just went too far. Given Frolov's groin history, if he went down on that play, I would expect to be digging a 6 foot ditch out behind Staples Center.
