The Wild are 3-9? Wow, that's rough. I knew they got off to a slow start, but nothing didn't think it was that bad

0-8 on the road and 3-1 at home. Doubt we see Gabby playing, no point in risking him.

Yeah, this new system's taking quite a while. I don't know if the players haven't bought into it yet, or if they just don't understand it, but either way they look pretty lackluster and disorganized out there most of the time. A lot of our core players have spent their entire NHL careers playing Lemaire Hockey, and 8 years of playing like robots seems to have had the effect a lot of us feared it would - they don't seem to know how to think quickly and creatively now that they're suddenly allowed to skate and encouraged to improvise. The new coach (first year as a head coach) seems awfully slow to understand that he just doesn't have the kind of players he needs to make his up-tempo offense click, and even slower to make the adjustments to which such an understanding would typically lead.

If Gaborik plays, I expect him to put up big numbers - maybe a 5-point game. If he plays, Rangers win. If he doesn't, it could go either way. Depends on how much effort and focus Minnesota brings to the rink.

What difference are these 2 points vs the 2 points with 3 games left?

If he can play..he better be in the lineup. We already lost two easy points vs that AHL team that could easily bite us in the ass come April.

I dont care if he cant even skate.just let him stand there on the PP....he will probably still score a goal.

Nothing. I just hope they dont rush because the game is in Minny. Gabby probably would've circled it on his calendar.

Wow I didn't realize the Wild were that bad. Of course the Isles are worse and what happened Wednesday?

As I mentioned in the Gabo injury thread, it's a shame that he'll miss his return to Minnesota but our offense without him for another game is a bigger shame.

Hopefully we can just scrap through and maybe Higgins can score his first goal when a Minnesota defenseman misses a pass on a delayed penalty call into an empty net. Who knows.

If the Knicks & Islanders get HD again, and MSG2 doesn't, I'm going to strangle somebody.

PA Parenteau scored before Higgins... man, who would have thought that?...

With Higgins in the first couple of games, he's been battleing and putting himself in good position, yet couldn't score... lately, he was invisible and didn't even get solid chances... I see him as a healthy scratch very soon...

Anyone know if the Wild got any heavyweight on the team? Well, it doesn't matter since the Rangers' one is out with soreness...

We’ve had some Rangers score their first goal upon the return to their old team…. I’d like to see my man Voros bang at least one goal and have a big game at his old team….

Higgins score?…. He’s been growing his play-off beard….or is he growing it till he scores? I still think the guy has a ton of talent, but has he ever been unable to find it. He will……

Big game Voros (if he plays) and Big Hig…… Book it!
