Anyone else notice Doughty singing along to Thriller before OT started? Hilarious. Not sure who it was, but either Drewiske or Parse or Richardson were like "oh man, you clown.." haha

The best was when Doughty got back to the bench after a long shift and the "I Wanna Rock" song came on and he sits down and gets super into the song and mouths "I WANNA ROCK" hahaha, pretty good stuff.

That was a couple games ago, not last night's, right?

Man I thought I was the only who saw that. Sort of bobbin his head. Kind of made me say "What the ......". Hilarious stuff.
I'm thinking 1974 was the best October. Only 1 loss. If they had a shootout back then; maybe they would have had 20 points.
I looked in the media guide and got some more info.
The 1974-75 Kings went to December 28th of that year (33 games in) before they hit their 5th regulation loss. Their record to that point was 18-4-11. They finished that season 42-17-21 - 105 points, which believe it or not was only good for 2nd in the division.

A impressive year. Montreal finished first in the division and Kings finished fifth in the league that year. LA's coach was Bobby Pulford. Dean Lombardi's mentor. It's cool watching some old games... no advertising on the boards; color guy didn't constantly talk through the play..... take a breath Jimmy. I truly miss that. It's always amazing seeing the difference in goalie's equipment... they really let that get of hand. If we only had Rogie now.
Come on, Fro did the same thing last year, and the year before, and the year before. He's known to be a slow starter. Fro is doing nothing different really, it's amazing how he looks playing in more of an offensive role.
TM does have a strategy for the shootout. He's saving his best players for 10th + rounds of the shootout.
I said so far but...I still think his game is better than ever before .. and so will you after a couple of games more when you admit you were wrong and I will accept your apoligy..
