who are we voting for- habs-leafs ?

Wait im confused, normally i always check who is playing eachother and say who needs to win or lose.

do we want montreal to win, get 2 points and make there fans and people around keep thinking there a dominant team with the new players. And making the leafs 2 points lower in the standings, and could get us a top 5 pick.

Or do we want TO to win, just becaus its the habs ?

I'm hoping Toronto wins.

Toronto will still lose plenty of games. However, I never...ever want the Habs to get two points in any game.

The only thing to "root" for in a game such as this is that someone wins it in regulation.

No 3-point game.

I really can't decide who I want to lose more. We can move past Montreal in the standings if they lose, but its always great listening to the Leaf fans at work after they lose.

I kinda want the Habs to lose tonight a little more, but I think it needs to be a regulation win that the Leafs can't use to build momentum.

I'm more pro-Bruins than anti-Habs so of course I'm rooting for the Leafs to lose because it helps the B's.

But what I'm really looking forward to is Komisarek's return...

Leafs to lose. I don't think Montreal is much of a threat this year and I want a top 3 pick more than I am worried about Montreal being halfway decent.

Hate to say it but Habs win benefits the Bruins more. Just NO 3 POINT GAME!

I've been going through this dilema since the end of the Bruins game... I want the Leafs to lose, but always enjoy watching the Habs lose. If I can keep the glass half full and they can give us a fight or two, this could end up a win/win type of game...

I don't care about the result tonight. What I'm cheering for is a huge brawl that leads to multiple long-term suspensions for top players on both teams!!!

Gotta be honest. First overall pick up for grabs still cannot get me to root for the Habs. The only way I would ever root for them is if coming down the stretch the Bruins needed the Habs to beat a team to ensure the Bs got a playoff spot, and I wouldn't feel good about it. Go Leafs. No 3 pointer please.

Only 6 times I root for the Habs - when they play the Leafs. The value of the draft pick trumps Mtl hatred.

It's pretty easy folks. We root for the B's. So it is common sense to root for another leaf loss in any scenario this year. ANY scenario. Leafs loose. We win. It's simple. Everything else takes a back seat.

GO HABS!

Everyone on these boards should always be going against the Leafs no matter who they're playing. Yes, even the Habs.

Leafs Loss = Bruins Profit

The real question is whether or not to listen to the game in French or English!

Don't want to hear glowing praise for the Leafs in English.....and I'm sure to learn a few new words listening in French.

But then I might not see a Don Cherry rant
