At least Crosby punched the face this time

Gotta love the effort yesterday...and the back end actually didn't look half bad, and it's nice to see us dominate a team like Carolina like we should.

Quick question to all of you though, who was Coburn paired with? Seems like he was being rotated with Carle for his goals....but again I didn't get to see the whole game.

Haha, thanks for the suggests, but I like my current av better. Although it IS Crosby bending over and take it from the linesmen, which would make a great sig because that is what we all think he does anyway with all of those bs penalties he drew with his dives. However, the picture is cut off too much, mine is much easier to see the homosuggestive theme

As for Betts, I completely agree that he is a great piece of the team. He is our 3rd best PKer (1. Lappy 2. Richie), our best FO guy and a real hard working, smart player. However, I just think that trying to draw a comparison between winning and losing based on 4th line center is a bit questionable - no matter how good he is. Especially since every loss the Flyers had featured at least one weak goal from the goalie (multiple in Boosh's game )

Coburn was with Syvret, but once Danny hit the 11 minute TOI mark and Parent went down our genius behind the bench said,

"OMG, if I leave Danny out there they may score 5 goals and come back, I have to play Pronger 25 mins so that he is worn down for the playoffs and start double shifting our best dman in franchise history, Braydon Coburn."

So Coburn ended with 21 minutes TOI, I saw him out with Syvret the first half of the game, Carle a couple times and Kimmo once or twice.

Interesting....I guess Stevens is looking to see if there other options other than Kimmo to pair him with (I know, I know, that's giving Stevens way too much credit), as we we've seen how disastrous that usually dependable pairing has been this year. Still don't get why he gets so many minutes though, other than bad positional play I hold my breath every time Coburn pinches - he has only succeeded twice this year when he does that, and he does it multiple times a game.

It's some sort of kid's show and someone photoshopped (or rather MSPainted) some lines into it to make it look like a rave and everybody's waving glowsticks arond.

The first couple times I ever saw it, I thought that it was like a scene from StarWars or something (like at the end of the last movie) photoshopped into a rave, and the background was like the forest or whatever. I have an old monitor so it's not a clear to me.

yup, all people wanted to do was look at the numbers at UNH he had. wasnt dominating ect ect. he didnt have much to work with at all at UNH. You see what Wisconsin did to them over the weekend?
You have to like his attitude this season. He continues to work hard and take nothing for granted at all.
guess some people still had a hardon for Turris last season.
Wonder what the thoughts are now.

My stupid Time Warner DVR didn't record the game on Saturday while I was out - I've noticed a few comments on various threads about Alberts hitting JVR and Carter not stepping up, or maybe stepping up too late. Anyone care to give me a quick run-down on what happened?
