Damn dude! Hope you recover soon. I'll keep you in my prayers. Hang in there brotha!

Why do they have to remove the kidney?

P.S. - If your fantasy score today is any indication of how things are going to go, you're going to kick ass.

But supplements from Mexico?

good luck no name. Try to relax and get some sleep. Eat healthy and 'know' you'll be fine. Like the great Stewie Griffin said, "Whether you think you can or can't, you're right." Quick and healthy recovery to you.

Consider an epidural if you want better pain relief in the days immediately after surgery. When they work, there's nothing better.

Of course, that way you wouldn't get doped up like you would with a PCA for pain control, so to each his own...

The life of a ninja is a brutal one. Get well soon my friend. Hopefully you'll get a Nigerian's kidney as a replacement as a form of karma.

Not taking care of yourself is selfishly depriving those who love you of time with you. Stop being selfish. Your friends, family and loved ones deserve nothing less as do your colleagues here on the boards.

Hope your surgery goes well and you make a full recovery. I recently had a scare with my kidneys. Fortunately, so far, changes in diet should be enough to take care of it. Take care of yourself man! All that stuff about the negative effects of too much caffeine, alcohol, salt, sugar and protein is for real. Best of luck to you!!!

PS - You can be in great shape and truly healthy at the same time. You just have to learn how.

Thanks guys. I'm going under on friday. Things will go well, I'm sure of it. It just gives me an excuse to get naked in front of some cute female nurses. Just kidding.

hang tough no name, and my wife says go for the epidural. that takes the pain away, while the drugs just make you dopey while you're in pain.

Hey guys. I got home this afternoon. I never thought it would be so easy. I'm super doped up but I'm stoked that I have 2 months of paid time off from work. You'll be seeing a ton of me here on HF.
