What a game what a game, not sure how a 2g 2a 4p +4 night doesn't earn Smyth a 3 star but it's all about the W!!! Definitely liking the hip checking doughnut too.

Quick with only 13 saves in this game? Is that right? Damn.

Oh how I wish we could resurrect the classic "Jason LaBarbera is a terrible goaltender" thread. The Kings would be in the playoffs last season if it wasn't for that bum.

I think a Lolbarbera lowlight video needs to be made with some Wiley E. Coyote scenes interspersed.
Kinda like that video of Lolbarbera doing his tree falling the forest move with the sound effect added.

Jason is irrelevant to our present and future unless he is playing against us.
No need for the negative karma.
We won.
Onto the next game.

It has been said that they will remain "The unnamed" so I won't bother trying.
I kind of liked it ...."The unnamed" feared by all ....
..Zad this is something for you to work on.

Smyth apparently hadn't read the scouting report - but Williams did.
Deke, backhand, score.

Ok, enough La Barbera. Seriously.
Jack had a rough 2 periods didn't he? Is it safe to say he was directly responsible for 2 of those goals? Or was it 1?

1. Hanzal's goal was Brown's fault with his uselessly stupid shot that had zero chance of going anywhere other than a Coyote's stick. Gave up possession when the puck never should have gone so quickly our way. Johnson tried, and if his wingspan was 1/8 of an inch longer, he bats that puck safely away.

That thread brings back great memories. Still in the archives if you want a good laugh.

And that's just
paid attendance.
Nick Nickson on the radio said it was the smallest crowd he'd ever seen for an NHL game. He estimated that there weren't even 3,000 there.
On a weekday night, in a not-very-good city for hockey, in an arena on the far edge of town, for a team that the fans have already been deserting, while the World Series is on, Monday Night Football is on -- predictably very bad attendance for the team who should be called the NHL-Owned-By-Default Generics rather than the Phoenix Coyotes.

In an uncomfortable way. There has to be other meaning though than it just sounding funny.
The line that knows everything?
Endless goals at your fingertips?
The definition of good hockey?
