Fantastic comeback and win!

I knew people here would blame it somehow on Labarbera because, well, they just can't help themselves, but seriously, get over it. There were no cheapies by the Kings.

Come on. Two goals were directly because of Labs junior level coverage of the post.

The other two were because we shook his confidence with a lot of shots. It was a mirror image of far too many Kings' games.

And it's the first one. Every subsequent win over Labs will just be a quick snicker and done.

Although, if I can yell at Marty Turco over and over again for years on end, why not Labs too?

I would like to pay a tribute to my late, great "Jason Labarbera is a terrible Goaltender" thread. Ah, the memories.....

I am surprised Leiweke hasn't marketed them to Bob and Jim and forced the "LA LIVE" line.

Then I LOL'ed.

Yeah, nothing can go wrong with giving them a name whose acronym starts off as L.O.L.

Things will only get better. It feels different this season. The early trials have been overcome. The ones to come will be as well. Fear is the only enemy now. When the confidence level exceeds the point of no return, look out and only look ahead boys.

Losing to LOLbarbera would have been humiliating. Labs probably singlehandedly stunted our rebuild by 6 to 12 months. If we would have had Quick or Ersberg's good goaltending in net all of last year, we would have competed for a playoff spot. Glad we got Schenn though...

Thats the only thing i didnt like of his however so only nitpicking.

The defensive units were outstanding today, Quick played very well, made 3 or 4 huge saves at crucial times. Simmonds was probably the best forward today, played super good, and richardson was excellent for the time he was on the ice
I'll bite...

Murray made some doomed line combos, summized that they weren't working, and made successful adjustments not only personnel, but in the forecheck as well.

If you got to check out O'Donnell's post gamer on the PHX/NHL Channel, you'd have heard Sean say that Murray "had a few choice words" at the end of the 2nd period.

I have no doubt Murray had some non-muttering words for Stoll again after that tripping call. I am pretty sure he was considering Frolov-ing him right then and there...

I have to say I'm not a Murray fan and in most cases think he gets out coached in the majority of our games but I was very pleased to hear that he got the boys fired up after the 2nd. Hopefully this will be the turning point and he can show he is capable of coaching on the fly.

Good Win Boys.

That makes me think of the Nicolas Cage movie, "Lord of War".

Return of the Kings would certainly be a fitting theme for the season if this resurgence keeps up until the end of the year and into the playoffs.

Little side note, not sure if anyone has noticed it yet with all the attention on Kopitar's stats...

Doughty has 3 goals, 11 assists, and 14 points through 15 games this year. He's second in the league in scoring for a defenseman.

Through 81 games last year, he had 6 goals, 21 assists, and 27 points. He's already scored half as many points, in roughly 1/6 of the amount of games played. He's going to obliterate his totals from last season.

On Slovenian forum someone came out with this one: Los Anzeles and we have solution (since most of commentarys call our line as Kopitar's line) Los Anzeles Line
