That deserves a big WTF.
He sucked in his first 5 games. In the last 9 games, he's been extremly useful. I've been the first to defend him since the 5-games mark, so quit it with your "WTF".

what on earth is going on!!!??? dropping like flies doesn't come close to describing the situation. I guess at least it's now. In practice too....***************************K. I'm going to miss the first period tonight, so hopefully when I get back we won't have let in 5 goals. Offense is going to have to be really effective. How many weeks is several? 4? 6?

Beyond that, the chorus of gang-up Gill whiners should be feeling ashamed that they were trashing a guy that was playing hurt for the team, putting his own personal health at risk in the process.

So the defense takes another blow. Gill actually played well in the last few games. Mara also showed signs of improvement. The one that seems to be worried about is Spacek. Hamrlik and Spacek need to step it up big time.

Hammer's been awesome, I thought. Spacek... has been very hot and cold.

He'll be missed on the pk, he clears the front of the net as well as anyone.

And that is a big part of the game.

They need O'Byrne back now.

As close as you can get to replacing Markov's puck handling skills, I have to say Spacek has been doing a good job. Lets remember he's playing on his "bad" side. I don't think he's been that bad actually. The last thing I was annoyed about was that weak coughing up of the puck against our boards that led to a goal (I think it was the last game or the game before). He's good at getting the puck out cuz his shot is too hard for the D man to keep in during a degagement along the glass, (similar to the Plekanec spin around whip it out of the zone move). Are you guys disappointed with his D play, lack of goals or both? Hammer has been awesome and you can see he's really a big part of the new team. Seems like he has a great rapport with everyone. Last year everyone seemed estranged.

Says a lot that Gill has been playing with a broken foot. I honestly have had no problems with him this season except for the inevitable delay of game penalties.

I do partially wish that, given he knows it would be a temporary gig so it wouldn't be rushing him in. Then again, let him keep up his momentum with the Dogs. I just don't see management trying him before Carle and Belle. Belle was quite impressive IMO.

seriously Gill has been playing better lately but he still have a couple of braincramps per game.. this team need better puckmoving and offensive skills at the blueline so I wont certainly cry about Gill injury, its a good opportunity for one of our kids to show what he can do...
