Maurice hasn't had an opportunity to take Sutter's heart away from him yet, it'll eventually happen though.

Here comes the inexplicable goal against us to start the total collapse.

edit: nevermind, they actually cleared the zone

I think they just called too many men on Florida. They're playing one of the most undisciplined games I've ever seen by a Panthers team, and that's saying a LOT.

Please buy one of these and spend an entire practice just shooting on it.

Sounds about par for the course. We'll end up with 40 SOG and 0-2 goals.

21 shots and no goals. That sums up our season well.

Bowman is supposed to be a "sniper" right? I read that a lot about him.......maybe we could bring him up to be a mentor for our veterans.

21-4 shot advantage, and nothing to show for it. Looks like our offensive woes are far from over.

21 shots? Wha...?

Best stat of the night: 1/4 of the season's goals came in the last Florida game. Nice.

Yep, this is simply unacceptable. Sure they're playing well but playing well and not being able to score is still going to end up going in the L column. And it's not like our forwards are forcing Vokoun to make stellar saves, just about everything is going right into his chest or leg pads. I'd say it's the players but I'd be fooling myself by doing so. EVERY team that Maurice has coached here has had this same problem. About the only shot that really challenged Vokoun was one that had him beat... too bad it went right off the post.

And what the hell is with not playing Sutter on the PP when he's been our lone offensive weapon the past 2 games? I get so sick of this **** from Mo.

I agree, DaveG. Brandon has been one of our best players, and he's stuck on the fourth line. It's things like this that put Maurice's job on the line in my eyes.

As usual, Jay Bouwmeester will score a backbreaking goal against us in the third period. I'm aware that he doesn't play for Florida anymore, but it's going to happen anyway.

Well, if we can outshoot them 21-4 every period the worst we can do is an 8-0 loss at this point.

yeah with all of the line jumbling Mo seems to do, most of which are unnecessary (im one of those who likes the idea of giving a line time to mesh instead of breaking them up if they dont work right away), I am surprised that Sutter hasn't been moved up with his play level in the last few games. You cant tell me that even with Staal out, Sutter hasnt earned a spot higher than 4th line

That was the worst powerplay I've ever seen.

As I stated earlier this year, we have 2 PKs. The Penalty Kill and the Power Kill

It was technically a powerplay, but in reality we were shorthanded because both Corvo and Whitney were asleep.

Another PK. Well Sutter's certainly getting some ice time now. Maybe he'll get a shortie here. it's the best chance our team is going to have to score all game.
