I really hope you're kidding... the Bruins can't score two goals in 8 periods of hockey lately! Thanks for giving us credit. Seriously though, I love the bear trap. Should be a fun game, as usual.

I can see one of the call-ups taking stewart's spot, but is the other one just precautionary in case gionta is unable to go?

S kost must be kicking himself knowing if he had just kept his mouth shut, played hard and stayed away from the drama queen antics, he would be in the nhl by game #16. Anyways, good on the organization to keep him down for now. It would be a huge shot to their credibility if they called him up right now while they attempt to change the culture of the club.

Meanwhile, you can make all the changes you want up front, but the D still reeks. Bergeron/Carle makes me very uncomfortable. I feel as if a Shawn Belle type player would be more suitable against the Bs.

Seriously, bad year for injuries thus far. On a side note, how good was that hit on Kessel the other night? I bet you guys loved that as much as I did.

I don't think so. But if i were to make a wager, I'd put it on Halak.

I don't know why but I have the feeling we either win big or lose big...

6-1 or 7-1

It's not going to be a clean game....

Can't lie, it was pretty awesome. I gotta say though, it feels weird sharing some hatred with Bruins' fans. Both our fanbases now hate Kessel and Komisarek. We could almost unite in Leafs' hatred, but that.....no. No alliance with Bruins' fans...never.

I'm hoping for a good game though, and no more injuries. It's gonna be ugly though. AHL match-up.

I dunno, I never really hated kessel other than the fact that he's good.

He certainly doesnt conjure the same type of emotions in me that Thornton and Lucic do.

I like that. Yeah, it's gonna be an interesting one. Maybe gives us a glimpse of the future.

It's not the same type of hate. Kessel scored some very timely goals against us and that made me hate him. The only way I could hate him more, is if he changed teams and played for the Leafs. That's now done. The hate just grows bigger with Leafs' fans' attitude towards Kessel.

No gimmes, we gotta work hard for our wins. With our D the way it is now and lack of secondary scoring, I'd much prefer a tight systematic game than trading chances like we did with Atlanta.

We need this win and considering its against the Bruins, that's extra incentive / bonus after how we ended last season.

Habs 3-1

Yeah, strange start to season with no Savard, Kessel, Lucic, Koivu, Kovalev, Komisarek, Markov, Tanguay, Ward, Price (assuming Halak gets start) and others, the rivalry hasn't been amped up yet.

I have a feeling it will be the 3rd game in before we see some real Habs/Bruins hatred. Right now, everyone is just hating the Leafs right now.

I think both fanbases want their teams to play better more consistent hockey, and what better way than against each other! I think we should start a petition to have each season start with a Habs/Bruins game.

Cheers to no injuries on either side!

Since the Bruins have been shutout in their last 2 games you just know they will breakout tomorrow night against this Habs defense...This one could get ugly if the Habs play defense like they did last game...

All I know is I will certainly miss all the Komi/Lucic hype from the Habs'Bruins matchup's this season....

It's interesting. Us Bruin fans are DISGUSTED by how brutal the offense is (just wait until you see how pathetic the Bruins power play is)...and from what I see you guys are DISGUSTED with your team defensively.

Something's gotta give I suppose...but I'm not very optimistic about this one.

I watched bits and pieces of their match against the wings. From what I saw, they were at least creating some chances so its just a matter of finishing. This indicates at least that there is light at the end of the tunnel for boston.

Meanwhile, the habs defensive woes seem to have no sight of getting getting better until at least another couple weeks when O'byrne and Gill will be back and able to push out a weak bergeron and a young d-man that is just not ready.

I was out at a bar (in ontario) so I could only watch the bruins-wings and tb-toronto and man, highlight of my night was when Kessel was told to promptly sit down. He honestly looks like he eats garbage.

I think you are underestimating how well our D is going to re-invigorate your offense. last posts before the game starts and we devolve into partisan barbs.

We're more inconsistent then that. Either we wing big, lose big, almost lose or almost win.

We either win or lose at the end.
