The only move this team should make is getting rid of Gainey, but Boivin doesnt care its all about selling tickets and merchandise for this team

Firing Gainey is stupid if we don't have anyone better than him.

Sharp/Horton/Mueller and Barker. We need to pull off two deals.

People should stop with their opinion about «who should be sent down, who should be called up».

I think that Gainey, Martin and Boucher have more acknowledge then us about that.

How about Filatov in Columbus? Go read their board, Hitch is riding him out of town.
They seem like they want to win now so how about dangling the Bros + Pleks +++ for Filatov and Brassard???

They love Brassard and they have him playing with Nash, they might consider moving Filatov but I doubt they touch Brassard witch they already extended

I'd do it, the Hawks wouldn't.

M. Bowman hangs up. Seabrook is untouchable. The tandem of Keith and Seabrook is the best in the NHL. Quantity < Quality

I don't know why we think Halak is nothing short of a huge commodity. As great as Seabrook is, that deal favours the Hawks if you throw in that pick. If you evened it up with their 1st round pick (so that we have one at least), then yes, for sure. Halak is money, enough with giving up picks so easily. It's a good deal, though, provided Seabrook is injury resistant.

As for them not giving him up...well, the deal wouldn't happen, but just from an academic perspective, they need Halak to save them from Huet (pricetag is good on Jaro), so you gotta give sometimes.

The problem here is that Halak is worth much more to the Habs than in a trade. A lot more.

Mueller will be a beast, I'd give a lot to have him on my team

Pacioretty, Subban, 1st pick

Halak, Pacioretty or Subban, 1st pick and maybe more , Seabrook is an untouchable in CHI.

Seabrook aint going anywhere (Until at least 2011,,, Have to figure some cap room for him then)

I cant honestly believe there are people that think that we would trade Seabrook let alone for that.

Skille cant make Hawks roster and he is = or > S Kostitsyn
Halak is nice but not worth that and your 1st doesn't interest us.

Kostitsyn for Whitney

I am hearing that Montreal is "considering a serious offer for the Kostitsyn brothers." I am also hearing that the Carolina Hurricanes may be the leading candidate with Whitney possibly going the other way.

Eklund

Both brothers for Whitney simply doesn't make sense, but I do believe the Hurricanes are going to make a move, the GM already said he would do something and yesterday they called up Zach Boychuk,if they lose to the Leafs tonight,I think they might wanna make a move or two

First time in this topic but I'm glad someone else had the idea of trading for Clowe. I think he's the most realistic option out there (he's struggling and his name has come up in rumors before) and the Habs could use a guy with his size in their top-six.

I have no idea what SJ would want from us though.
