Player impression for Sweden

Andre Petersson: Most dominating player on the ice for Sweden. Great skater, great shot, no garbage goal, all great shots. Ottawa will love him if size doesn't matter.

Anton Rodin: Benefited from playing with Petersson, but had a good game too.

As said before, Marcus Johansson showed a lot of maturity, good defensive plays too.

As for Tedenby, despite his size, he's clearly not shy of going in front of the net. He will need to polish some aspects of his game, but he showed some talent in the first part of the game.

Denis Rasmussen played a good first half of the game, using his size to his advantage. However, he completly disapeared until his goal in the shootout.

Jacob Josefson was completly invisible in the game.

This is pretty much it for what I've seen. I didn't get a lot of chance to evaluate the D-man as the press box is at the end of the rink and Sweden had to score at that end two times.

1) Did MPS play?
2) IF not what is the update on his injury?
3) Any boxscores showing all stats? I mean canada is the land of hockey stats, there must be a boxscore somewhere!

Also glad that Markstrom didnt play and let in 4 goals.

MPS did not play and will not play any more this week.

He's got a mild concussion and he hopes to be back on the ice next tuesday. The swedish U20 team doctor says he wont be playing hockey for at least six days.

MPS didnt't play, and I have no update on his injury.

Sweden is playing tonight vs Concordia U, as for boxscores I don't have any, as the game was an exhibition, I guess it didn't make it to the web.

Thanks for the report...much appreciated! Did Oliver Ekman-Larsson play? If so, how did he look?

He won't play anymore in Canda afaik. He has a concussion, he'll probably be back next week it seems (but hey perhaps he has suddenly become all better)..

Yes he did, but didn't catch my eye enough for me to give a report.

Thanks. I see he had a couple of points (1g1a) against Concordia.
