Hmmm, I think he might be a little old to still be relevant..maybe he could do a good job as a coach in Trenton
I really, really think you're either the smartest poster here, the silliest, or the stupidest.

Either way, A+.

Something else I just thought of:

Martin is out, so when Patty comes back we will still have two As, Elias and Parise. When Martin comes back, who keeps the A?

Elias and Parise do since at the beginning of the season it was announced they would be our 2 A's this season.

Martin was just filling in for Patty while he was out. Patty and Parise are the primary alternates.

I think for sure would leave him out for tomorrow, but if he feels he's ready for the weekend, then by all means let him play, but if he took another week off and returned on Remberence Day against the Ducks, that wouldn't be a bad idea at all.

He obviously didn't play tonight, but he might play this weekend, either Friday vs the Isles or Saturday vs Ottawa, or he might play both.

I'm gonna guess he plays his first game on Saturday against Ottawa..

Putting Bergfors with Parise and Zajac looked like a great move and it obviously paid off. Anyone else think Lemaire should keep them together? I sure do.

Maybe somthing like this when Patty returns:

Parise-Zajac-Bergfors
Elias-Zubrus-Langenbrunner
Rolston-Niedermayer-Clarkson
Leblond-Pelley-Pikkarainen

I really like these lines and I think they could do a lot of damage. Elias and Langenbrunner have played together many times before and they always mesh well. Patty had good chemistry with Zubes last year and I'm sure they would work together this time around too.

I distinctly remember people crying when I said at the end of last season to put Bergfors with the twins when Gio left. All the "he's a rookie, he can't just walk on that line, hardee har". The kid has the talent and speed and it's evident. He attacks the person with the puck the same way Parise does and it is going to pay off big time.

Jim wasn't the only one. I'd go back and find posts, but I don't want to.

Oh I don't doubt it, but I tend to just ignore the whining. Unless of course it's a 24/7 hard on like jim had for all things berg4s. Anyone who didn't give Bergs a chance before the season started needs their head examined.

I really want to see Elias and Bergfors together, but considering that Bergfors plays a great puck possession game just like the Zs, that's not a bad fit for him either. He's clearly shown he can handle it.

Bergfors has shown he can play with most of the rest of our top 9 and not look out of place. That is very useful with Lemaire's bingo cage line setup.

I like this, but Jacques will keep mixing and especially since he hasn't Elias with anyone. I wouldn't be surprised to see him with Rolston and Nieds for a bit.
