It was posted in the GDT but it deserves it's own.

Great thing, always liked Lilja and he was solid last year.

Possibly Detroit's greatest African American player too.

It was new teammate Brad May who told Lily about where he could turn for help. May who suffered multiple concussions recommended two specialists - an acupuncturist in Toronto as well as a chiropractor in Vancouver.

I see what you did thur.

That May signing is looking better and better, although if Lilja returns, I won't get my hopes up. He was playing the best hockey of his career when he went down, and after so much time off + scrambled eggs = not great news for a guy who was prone to mental mistakes to begin with.

If he can pick up where he left off, then Lilja-Ericsson will be a great pairing. And then maybe we can nab a 5th-7th rounder for Lebda.

Great news. He and Ericsson would make me much more confident in our 3rd paring. If the headaches do stop I wonder if he'd even be game ready by this year.

Does anybody know if he's skating still or was that a one time deal so to speak?

If Lilja does make it back and this ends up being the turning point, May has won me over. I don't care if he goes on to win the Lady Byng, he was still worth it.

Obviously, he's not going to be back too soon, and he's not the greatest D man ever, but I really don't need to watch another Wings defenseman have his career cut short by an injury.
