notice at the end of the article it says he has to go through waiver.
wonder how that works?
as far as i remember its goes by last year standings

Meaning the islanders would get the choice first to get him, followed by TB then Colorado

But then a GM would make it clear Foppa agreed on a contrat with X team and whoever would be dick enough to steal him would get blacklisted by most GMs for future trades.

Forsberg to NYR would be a terrible fit, they have some of the worst ice in the NHL, he'd miss 60% of the games just with groin pulls and tweaked knees...and that's before other injuries...

Our ice is questionnable this year too
Did you see before last game when they clean the ice from black stuff on the ice?

NY Post: Canadiens one of five teams in on Forsberg

Confirmation that we're at least in the game. And a real source, not just the Ek.

I want him badly! Forsberg with Pleks and Akost could be very good.

Not saying we're not interested in Forsberg, but I wonder how much interest we still have on Korneev and Perezhogin as well.....Might not be for this year, but we might be interested in making a push for next year...Unless there's something in the works for....Radulov.

I thought the fact that he hasn't played in the SEL means he doesn't have to clear waivers?

I think that claiming a player don't affect your waiver rank.

If I were him, AVS will be last of his list. They has no chance to win the cup, even with they're start.

Yep. According to Forsberg's agent, he should report to the KHL team next week. Forget about Forsberg comin to MTL.

On TSN tonight, they said his agent said he won't be making any decisions until after the tournament.

What is your source?
