CROSBY: “The biggest thing is, you just have to beat some good hockey teams, beat some teams that maybe, in the the past, you might go in thinking that you just want to find a way to survive and maybe squeak a win out. That changes when you start to beat some good hockey teams."

Done.

that feels almost as good as beating the ducks...total statement game for this team to show the league who we are...crosby is a bum without malkin to take all the shutdown d pairings...

Good test passed for the Kings, but remember that the Pens are without Malkin, Gonchar, Kennedy, and Talbot. I like that we had to come back to win (rather than playing with the lead). The best part about this was that nearly everyone had a hand in this win. Fantastic character building game.

Kopitar looked like he was a man on a mission of shutting down Crosby.

Stoll was flat out ridiculous tonight, especially in the face-off circle (he absolutely dominated Staal all night).

Pens announcers are giving the Kings the stamp of approval on the postgame show. "They beat us at our own game tonight."

Too bad we couldn't have seen the Pens completely healthy, it would have been an even better game.

Kings get the salute from NHL Network, lots of praise for Kopitar, but especially his linemates Smyth and Williams, also a shoutout to points in 8 straight games!

I am up in the clouds, I am going to be riding this win a while No voice, a little dizzy, and some cleanup to do

What a game. Boy we came out strong tonight. Enjoy your win tonight. Onto the next Victim!

Go Kings!

Hep! Respect. Thoroughly earned victory. You've got a great team to watch. Looked like we could sneak away with one there for a while, but sure got beat up in the end. Congrats.

I know it's only a regular season game and it's early, but man this felt like the playoffs.

Nah. But Kopitar is damn good. Crosby is just in a bit of a rut right now.

Great game, though.

It may be 66 games away but I can feel the playoffs so much it hurts.
