Preds lead 16-13 in terms of shots on goal after two periods, but also lead in total shots (SOG+blocked+missed shots) by a 42-26 margin...

If Quick through his stick at the puck on an empty net, that should be a goal...

Actually, thinking about it...automatic goal if the net was empty, but a penalty shot should have been awarded for the goalie throwing his stick being out of position...

With Ivanans in the lineup, I'm surprised Belak wasn't dressed.

Go Preds!

Haha, Quick left the net on a delayed penalty, but before he got to the bench, the puck was somehow sliding towards the open net. So Quick decided to throw his stick at the puck and saved the goal, but then gets a throwing the stick penalty.

How come we always seems to come out on the short end of stupid refs decisions? That should have been a penalty shot at worst.

Kings beat Ellis with a deflection off Ward, then Ward goes right back down the ice to put the Preds back ahead by 2... 3-1 Preds!

Wardo giveth and Wardo taketh away...

Actually, props to the refs...As Callahan pointed out on Twitter, since the stick did not hit the puck, an interference minor is the correct call...

Kings beat Pittsburgh 5-2. By the rule of transference, the Preds are better than Pittsburgh?

Thanks, listening to Pete and Terry I was under the impression that the stick stopped the puck from rolling into the empty net. I'll stop my *****ing now.

Well kinda, every seasons like that.

Inury updates

Heard that Hammer was hurt a some point. Is he OK?

Any word on other injuries??

How did Erat and Tootoo play today?

Weber is with the team, which has to be a good sign.

Any news on JP or Wilson? I thought I read somewhere that JP might be flying out to meet the team.

Erat finished with 2 assists on the night and Hamhuis finished the game with 22+ minutes of ice time. Thinking they are good...

Tootoo drew the PP that lead to the Bouillon PP goal, but without TV, it was really difficult to know how he was playing...

Wilson and JP are still in Nashville...

Erat needed a game like this. This bodes well for future games.

I believe the rule is "Transitivity", and in general that wouldn't be the case. But for this particular question, yes. Reason being, Pittsburgh sucks and Nashville is the best. So Nashville is better than Pittsburgh.

Wow. I appreciate a good prank as much as anyone, but you all went way over the top with this one. A fake gameday thread! Classic.

The script claims Franson had an even strength goal? (And Erat with the assist?. ) Legwand and Erat combining for 3 points. Bouillon with a goal. Legwand with five shots if blocked shots count. Good one. Hornqvist with only two? (that's what gives the prank away I think) We scored on a powerplay? A little weak there, who thought of putting that in? And counting misses and blocks we toss almost 60 shots toward the net?

And three goals, and a win on the road? Haha. A bit much I think.

What gets me is you all got the Pete and Crispy and the Pred website to go along with it. Even faked out the major sports networks. Not bad.

Hmm...doesn't look like it was televised anywhere. How do we even know they played and didn't just take the day off and go to the beach? Put on a big radio production and called it a day? Now they're going to get a paid audience (this IS LA we're talking about) to sit at the arena while body doubles play out the 'goals' and 'saves'--just enough for the gameday highlights. You're on to something.

Either way it's a W in the standings, and I'm still undefeated in GDT's =)
