I think they've all started to injure themselves just so they can get away from this.

Perhaps they are hoping he is OK because he is an injured human being with a substantial laceration in his leg and not about the rest of this doomed season.

Perhaps,it's just when I saw the "Wow" part in the post right after we allowed 3 goals it sounded more like it pointed to the doomed season.

If there is one positive, I've been impressed by the increased passion displayed by Yelle since he was placed on waivers. Seems like he has done everything right in the locker room and on the ice since then.

Injuries are piling up, losses are piling up even faster......I'm really thinking for the first time they we will indeed pull down the #1 overall pick.

I thought we had a chance before, but now I truly believe.

True enough. My dad is actually at this game rooting for the Hurricanes. Not for a show of moral support to me, but because he's a Bruins fan and the Hurricanes have the inside track for the first pick over the Leafs now(who handed the Bruins their first pick for Kessel).

Knowing their luck, Carolina would finish dead last in the NHL by far, but lose the lottery.

Wow, look at this PP, Canes aren't even trying anymore.

EDIT: Somehow they scored... Gleason must have closed his eyes again when he shot the puck.

Nothing like the dump and don't chase offense down by a goal under 4 minutes.

Oiler fan here. I hope Ward is OK. He's a classy young guy and a great goalie.

Now we just have to hope that Rutherford doesn't panic and trade our #1 overall draft pick in the next week or two to get Justin Williams back.

I hope Cam will be the same player after this injury. Seems very bad .

You know, another loss - another step.

Corvo looked bad tonight. Just not strong on the puck. Don't know what was up with him. Hopefully it was just an off night. His trade value needs to get higher before the deadline when someone decides they need the all important puck moving defenseman for a playoff push.
