I wouldn't mind seeing a nice stretch of games with us scoring more than 1 goal. Lats/Laps have been brutal. Bergeron is horrible. I can't wait to get O'Byrne & (gulp) Gill back. We need some size tonight we got pushed around and off the puck alot tonight imo.
Our D was soft. The Tampa players were pushing us around in our own zone in the first period. We couldn't score when we did get an offensive push.
Pleks, Kostitsyn, and White was our best line. Cammer/Gomez/Gio weren't bad but couldn't get it done. Ditto for Moen/Metro/Patches.
Lats and Laps were terrible. I'm sick of these guys. I would prefer Chips in next game and have these two sit. Nothing to say about Pyatt. Didn't really notice him except for one shift where he had a good play on net.
Gorges had a bad game. Carle wasn't as good as he was in Boston and MAB is MAB.
On the positive side, the habs may have found their top two three lines.
Overall, the loss feels a bit deflating, just like that third goal.
Tampa scored when they had the momentum, they also scored when they didn't have it, and that proved to be the difference. That's called opportunism. And that's pretty much what the Habs lack at the moment (that, and Markov of course).
