Per Newsday:

Right stiff upper thigh/groin
"It's just a minor little thing that's been bugging me, so it's a good time to get a break, we're not playing til Thursday, so a couple days off here and be good to go,"

Yeah, regarding Henrik: I know he's banged up and all but I'm curious to hear what some of the Swedish media outlets are saying. (cough Chimp help us out cough cough). Probably is nothing serious but I'm still concerned about our King. Vally played sharp in Edmonton but with respect, EDM was not as challenging as Calgary will be. We were playing a team where half of them had or were still recovering from the flu.

In any case, LETS GO RANGERS.

It is believed that Lundqvist is nursing a lower body injury; perhaps a sore groin.

If anyone wants to kill time until Rangers-Calgary, you can watch the P.A. Parenteau, Evgeny Grachev and Ilkka Heineken's Hartford Wolf Pack vs. Dominic Moore's Bridgeport Sound Tigers at 7:00 pm EST / 1:00 am CET here.

(broadcasting won't start till about 5 mins. before the game)

Well didn't expect Vally to start again tonight, oh well.

Rangers win 4-3, Vinny with a game winner.

I hope you guys beat the Flames tonight.

I know the Oilers are a terrible team but I get choked seeing teams on a western Canada road trip lose to Vancouver and Calgary, but win in Edmonton.

This sucks.

Calgary is such a dangerous team, and Vally's in. I can definatley see shades of the San Jose game right now. Vally's rebound control against Edmonton was suspect as well...

Hopefully Hank ain't sugarcoating anything by saying that it is a minor injury and all.

****!

It's a good idea to rest a banged up Henrik against a physical Calgary team. They would probably try to run Henrik and God knows our defense would just stand around with their thumbs up their *****.

Hopefully Vally is up to the challenge, and the defense as well.

This will get ugly . Flames are going to come out fast but Hank will Oh yea (out hurt from getting Run) step up. Avery vs Dion will be a classic but McGratton vs Brashear will be fight of the year (oh yea out hurt ) Purst and others will pound our defense deep in the corner but our gritter team will keep up ( oh crap i forgot we don't have one )
Go bet the Flames tonight

I would relly like to see Avery improve tonight on his recent efforts. Not sure what is happening, maybe it is the fact he is on the 4th line?
Watching him, he has a lot more to contribute and what better time to kick it up a notch.

Just wondering if I am the only one wondering about Sean right now.

No, definitely not the only one. He needs to be more effective in order for this team to be better. However, there are a handful of players you can say that about including Rozsival, Drury, Dubinsky, Callahan and Lisin. Secondary scoring so far has been bad.

Not much he can do offensivly when he's getting 5 minutes by playing with Boyle and Voros/Byers...

To be fair, he was pretty invisible before he was put on the 4th line.

Hehehe, Avery looked like he was being bodyguarded against the cameras by his teammates. Hilarious.
