Our shots on defence are putrid (is this word appropriate here?). Our d-men are losing all advantage by reacting sooo slowly....even Bergeron, surprisingly!! Gorges struggled big time tonight, he made some bad decisions and I'd like him to actually SHOOT THE PUCK, not a half-hearted attempt, un peu de vigueur svp!

BUT, I thought we didn't give up, no finish, but at least the effort is there!!! I liked A. Kost's game and more importantly, the fact that he and Pleks seemed to have some chemistry going on! However, this time, it's Latendresse and Lapierre who were MIA.

Bergeron has no business in the NHL.
The refs sucked.

It would be nice if the Habs could have gotten a few more PP's..for a team that's supposed to be all about speed, only 2 PP's ain't good enough. Especially considering that the scored their only goal on a PP.

They should be drawing way more penalties than that.

That's the new NHL for you. We won a lot of games in OT but they've lost a lot of games in OT. Still, it gets you a point so they never really fell that far behind.

Something tells me it is the lack of good scoring chances. If we aren't getting good chances there is no reason for one of the TB players to take a penalty.

That's all? It seemed like so much more. Painful watching them play. Lats is worse then in his rookie season for gawd's sake. How does that happen?

Tampa played a great road game; once they got up, they shut us down. Still, we never gave up, so that's something. Frustrating as hell though. Oh well, hopefully back to .500 next game!

Same old story, the other team cash in on all their scoring chances and habs shoot blanks the whole night.

Laughing all the way to the front of the unemployment line, how many weeks of pogey did he qualify for?

Because this team is exactly the same, it's not like we swapped out around 10 guys or anything. Carbo was our savior and we betrayed him amirite? Does he even have a job yet?

Sorry but for a playmaker, Gomez can not hit a guy on the tape to save his life. Sure he has the vision but the execution is way off.

Agreed. Gomez is fine. If Markov were here and (not blaming Cammy or Gio) his line mates had a little more luck so far he would be around PPG.

If anyone is watching L'Antichambre....tell me I'm not imagining this BS.

Hey! Bergie, **** about Stasny and when you coached him.
How on earth are they complaining about how they benched Lats and Laps (sorry I don't mean I don't understand why they're complaining, I don't understand how they don't get shot in the face)
They are complaining abotu White and Pyatt being put out against Lecav and that it's robbing the other players. Guess what? They did a good job! better than the other slackers! Of course complaining about AK who had one of his best games and defending Lats and Laps.

For those of you who wanted Hartley as a coach, I hope you are watching him and are thanking the sky that your wish was not granted. Nutjob, idiot, absolut moron. Thank god for Jacques Martin.

I agree....Habs don't put bodies in front of the net. They shoot from way out, or bad angles, but guys like Gomez, Cammalleri, and even AK46 should be able to "draw" a penalty while dipsy-doodling around...even if they have to slightly embellish it.

This team just not draw enough PP's, imo.

yes...JM called out Laps...let's see how L'antichambre reacts

I also don't know what is so mysterious: We missed all our chances (which were many) and Gionta pulled a rabbit out of a hat. How are they blaming it on everything but that?
