I feel bad for Jackets fans if all their games are shot like this. Seriously, this is maddening. I want a glowing Fox puck if we're going long distance like this. It's like they're filing from across the street.
Don't know what feed you were viewing, but FSOhio production SUCKS! That's all there is to it! The arena is awesome, you can shoot great in it, but the production blows, plain and simple.
There was very little hope left, but if Ward is out for any significant amount of time this season really is done.
I hope Wardo fully recovers soon. If we are to look for any positives, this could be that last step needed for JR to realize that it would be best to start officially tanking the season, rather than trying to fix un-fixable with jerk reaction trades.
Media guys were interviewing Mason post-game. Ward's injury came up. Mason was saying that this is not the first time Ward has been cut and that Ward doesn't wear "knee pads". Mason said that Ward is a really nice guy and stuff (probably got to know him well at the Canada Olympic camp) but he kind of alluded to the idea that "maybe he (Ward) will think twice about wearing the "knee pads" from here on.
If it is a serious injury and Ward is out an extended period of time, do you think Peters gets the call to back-up Leighton or will Rutherford look to sign a cheap veteran goaltender?

they look like the only ones who give a crap, so let's import as many rats as possible and see what they have.
as for ward, hope he gets better soon, but with the way this season is going, i'm sure he wont be rushed back into the lineup, regardless.
As for the game itself, this team is just brutal. It has gotten to a point where it's almost funny. I bet if we were up 6-0 and got scored on, it would deflate us and we would find a way to lose.

Peters is on track to be the backup next year, I think they give him a chance now. They could sign someone, but unless it's someone who is going to back up next year I don't see a good reason to do so.
I was at dinner with family, turned on the radio on the ride home, first thing I hear is "and the Canes give up three goals in 2:45 to start the third"
I started laughing, this team is so bad it's funny.
My thoughts are with Ward though, hopefully he can make a speedy recovery.
