Erat had a multi-point game?!

Where the hell has that Martin Erat been? The season started a month ago!

3rd best defenseman so far this year behind Suter and Weber. Great defensively and even plays on the PP a bit.

Sharks also beat Pittsburgh tonight. Kings have 3pts to the Sharks' 2 in the season series. Why even bother play them on Tuesday; just put down a W and move on. Goaltender of the future Brian Finley posts a shutout.

Is that the best you can do at eating crow since you were arguing with other posters about how Erat should just stay in the pressbox?

I was advocating his immediate termination.......I mean bullet to the head, not waiver wire.

Yeah, that seems to be the consensus around the hockey community
unfortunately we have to go beat them.

It just so happens that he is my least favorite player in the entire NHL (and happens to play on our team, argh). And since this game was on tv and there is no video proof that he did anything, I will say it never happened

They said the revolution will not be televised. And it wasn't. Where's the proof?

Went to the game......the backbreaking sequence was when Kopitar lost his balance skating backwards in the neutral zone which allowed Ward to get a head of steam. Kings were in scramble mode right after that as Ward (with nice patience) stuffed the puck in shortside and a backchecking Kopitar ended up on top of Quick. It was the sort of thing that needed to be put to the Benny Hill music as it was just weird to see live.

It was kind of a weird game for two periods. Kinda like both teams were sleepwalking because of the 1pm start.

I guess Ward is going to be good for at least one of those kinds of goals per season. I'll take it.
