NHL Quiz: Goalies with a Goal, Most Points by a Tendy, One Season

There really should be a section or a sticky'd thread to put these but nevertheless, here's the quiz:

http://www.sporcle.com/games/jashoesm/goaltenders_goals

Here's a second one, most points by Tendies in one season:

http://www.sporcle.com/games/jashoes..._points_season

I find these ones fun just simply because it's such an odd stat that often isn't recorded.

I got 5 and one of them was a pure guess. To be honest after I saw the 4 that I missed I think I did pretty good!

It would be epic if a goalie ever scored with a goalie in the net.

Ah wow, I don't think I was ever aware of Mason and Noronen, but I got the rest. Cool game, I've always liked this question, it's tricky when you count those who didn't shoot the puck in the net.

I laughed. I laughed more when he tried it last season, fanned on it, and got scored on.

Our goalie sucks.

This would be a most glorious day if it ever happens. And as long as Toskala is still in the NHL, I'd say the chances are pretty good!*

*to be the one who gets scored on of course

I don't know, I don't remember that play and seeing the vid my mouth dropped open, but I think Hextall being the only goalie to actually shoot and score TWICE, and once in the playoffs no less, is equally impressive.

Those were the two I missed. Though I saw Nabokov (SJfortheCup's post), so thats sort of cheating.

EDIT: It amuses me that Damian Rhodes is the most-forgotten out of the bunch, and it's the first one I remembered (I was at the game)

That and Hextall did it on purpose. Theodore was just trying to clear the puck. The goal was just a pleasant byproduct.
