Two things involving Corvo:
-For those that question Nash's willingness to be aggressive as a captain, early in the first, Nasher & Corvo almost came to blows at center ice. Good stuff.
-Had the Canes been able to get the puck to Corvo at the end of the game, we'd have had OT. He was wide open & Mase was way out of position. We got lucky on that one.
-- G Cam Ward was discharged from Riverside Methodist Hospital this morning and is back in Raleigh, N.C. The best guess is that he'll miss a month of action recuperating from the lacerated thigh he suffered in Saturday's game vs. Columbus.
He was solid-to-looks good during the preseason, and he fit the bill for a guy who could play both center and wing and had good size for the fourth line. I think he's got some potential, but he hasn't shown the same game in the regular season. I think some play in the 'Cuse would be a good thing for Blunden.
Yeah. I think so too. Blunden looks like he has potential but is just a half a step behind. More ice time would bring him up to speed.

I think that's what I read in the Dispatch. They ran a nice little piece about him. Apparently he's here a little longer than he thought and this caused some conflict with his wardrobe, necessitating a jeans purchase. I really do like McKensie. He is exactly what we need on that line. He just 'works'.
Because he's 28 and a career minor leaguer... He had a good game but we have bigger fish to fry.
You say that like it's a bad thing, Robert!! I don't care how old he is or how long it took him to get where he is. I just like what I see. He's making a difference on that line!! If 28 is the magic number, then get us some more of those!!
