Like I said, lazy. Use the search function.
Oh yes, for a thread you think is worthless, you've already posted twice, and it has 2 pages of discussion from intelligent posters. Looks like you're the only one with a problem- meaning it's actually YOU that's the problem.

Hemsky hunting has been Regehrs favorite sport for years. Said so repeatedly.

We're targets for the crap.
Lets look at a couple of things. I can't comment on the 3rd Calgary game since I never saw it this year. But Regehr was non-existent in the first two games we played against them. If it wasn't for Boogard injuring a couple of our players in the 06-07 season I honestly wouldn't even know who he is.

I'm sure he would have but who mentioned MacIntyre?

Replacement didn't and neither did I.

The point was the Oilers are a team that can easily be run and injured without repercussion.

Sutton's hit were clean hits. Those are not going to stop because you have an enforcer sitting on the bench!

There are people that come to read everyday such as myself and I wasn't going to filter through threads that I don't care about hoping to stumble upon injury updates or news. This deserved it's own thread.

Precisely.

We've been an easy club to take liberties against.

The more soft players you have in the lineup the more your *absorbency* for this kind of thing increases.

Team tough is by committee not by having some guy on the bench taking numbers.

Then we agree.

In today's NHL, enforcers are almost useless.

With the instigator rule the cheap shot artists will always win.

True enough, but the NHL ref's haven't been calling the rule a whoe lot the last couple season's. I agree though, they need to ditch the rule. head shots would decrease dramatically if they removed the rule.

SMAC was waived because really after his bout with Godard last season he hasn't been the same player. Add to that the fact that Mcgratton wasted him recently, his days were obviously numbered.

The league really needs to look at getting rid of the instigator rule, it would make the players more accountable for there actions. For example would Glencross have thrown that cheap hit on Drury? Doubtful.

Exactly, But I thought the guy in my avatar said he was going to address that issue at the beginning of the season

It appears he is more talk than action unless Comrie is what the doctor ordered.

I would argue they haven't called it as much because the players know they can't do it but otherwise we completely agree.

IMO the last straw was the bad penalty he took against Colorado.

You can't add players without getting rid of players. So far they have done the best with what they got. But unfortunately, Stone, Souray, Smid and JF are all injured right now. You could even tell that when those guys were in the line up playing physical, other smaller guys like Cogliano, Brule and Gagner were getting into the mix as well.

He was horrible unless you have been paying attention to him this season, you would know his game has been like night and day of what it was last year.

Well, Burke has been told to go **** himself so many times he figures there must be something enjoyable to it. The man is highly susceptable to suggestion. All we need is someone to mention autoeroticasphyxiation and viola, all quiet on the eastern front.
