Giggy?

Would you guys be willing to deal one of our goalies, and a guy like Paul Kariya for J.S. Giguere?

Kariya is about as useless as a midget in the NBA but our pair of goalies is working well right now. Look at the GF and GA statistics for the team and it is obvious that we need to work much more on scoring goals than stopping them. I'd like Kariya dealt for an improvement to the offense.

You realize our goalies are 5ht and 6th in save percentage in the league thus far. That's a very affordable and effective pair. Of all the Blues' problems, goaltending has been pretty steady. I wouldn't mind moving Kariya (and his salary) but I think the better return is someone that can help on offense (a sniper would be ideal).

I agree. The Blues shouldn't waste resources fixing problems that don't exist.

Definitely not. It's not about Guguere, but that The Blues have a very good tandem right now. Make a move if one of them goes down with a long-term injury because neither Bishop nor Toivonen are ready for the bigs. Each has had very good games, but each remain shaky late in games.
