I like the way Richardson is playing overall, but it sure would be nice if he buried a chance like he had tonight once in awhile.

Great game by the top three lines tonight. Two more points! 24 points down, 70 to go for the playoffs!

Keep Harrold as a spare. Richardson should be centering Clune and Ivanans. Trade Purcell.

..but a win is a win .. I'm happy with that, but we will not win alot of games if we play like this.

PP sucked and our own defending zone was a no hitting area.. not by all players though.

Williams and Kopi was a bit of today.. that happens.

Brownie worked hard but he has to go on the net in PP which Zad pointed out.

We were "panicing" in our own zone and couhing up pucks all night long.

Has to improve or this will be a bad roadtrip.
Disagree with a few points, the Kings did not play bad. They complexly dominated the first period and most of the third, yea there was a little let up in the second but sometimes the other team plays well to.

Lots of ppl were saying our PP was bad......how many teams do you think would pray to have a bad PP go 40%???? Yea the 5-3 was kinda bad but ultimately the PP is working for the Kings.

I will agree there were one to many defensive lapses tonight and a team with more offensive fire power would have punished us.

and btw, this team needs a fricken spark plug when it comes to some physical/edgy play. they were thrown around like rag dolls for most of the game tonight and i saw numerous "runs" by the other team and nothing in response, not even a face wash. i'm all about the wins but that CRAP will not fly come playoff time and they should be practicing it if they think they are going to make the playoffs at all.

That's why Clune and Ivanans need to play.

I didn't like Jones in the defensive zone. But man was I glad to see him out there on the PP. If he could play a bit of wing then Harrold would be toast.

Good game. Our PP set up has to get better. I'm still waiting for Jack to shine. He's been quiet.

im all about clune being on board over harrold but hasn't he been hurt for a while? last i read was the blog post from westgarth that said he was ready to come back. my biggest beef is that this team is supposed to be standing up for itself no matter who is on the ice. you need those enforcer/agitators to make a statement with a big hit or mixing it up but you also need to stand up for themselves as a team and i can't stand watching that not happen. greene was about the only guy on the ice tonight in a white sweater that was making even half of an effort in that department.

They need to step it up physically and stop turning their cheeks at runs targeting the top players on this team.

Why are some of you complaining about Harrold? Stop it.

i agree, i was kind of expecting him to step it up this year as well as simmonds as the ones who would be standing up for teammates no matter the situation. GRRRRR.

i was going to post just before that second goal that he and Johnson are a nightmare waiting to happen on about 145 feet of the ice.

Murray did have Jones shift with Doughty near the end of the game there.

you mean other than getting robbed of a base hit and going -2 in 4 minutes and 30 seconds?

he sucks at high volume.

Simmer has been quiet too. I can see he is trying but it's just not cutting it. He gets thrown off the puck to easily and he needs to gain weight so he can take hits. The Handzus line needs to break up. Fro is creating chances that the other two can't bury.

If OD has to sit, make it games like these, against "weaker" teams. JJ needs him by his side. If Jones plays and we're up against tougher competition, sit Drewiske and keep Jones's pointmanship and OD's veteranness.

Jones was nothing special in his defensive end, but he didn't give up huge chances. He fumbled a bit, but mostly regained enough control to get the puck out of harms way.

No negativity damn you people. We came, we saw, we won. Even after giving up a 2 goal lead. Character.

To an extent I agree, but you really picked a poor night to complain.

So wait, because everyone refrained from whining after the loss to Chicago, did it all just build up so that its pouring out the first chance you got?
