Once they announce the season is on in late Dec. or first week of January, what are you gonna do then?

Exactly. 5 minute job to read 235 pages? This offer is neither simple, small nor instantly rejectable. The NHL will want to

a) go over the numbers with its economists and accountants, check the fineprint
b) evaluate the numbers and brainstorm
c) tell all of the owners what their thoughts are
d) let the owners mull over it and give feedback
e) Bettman-owners decide course of action
f) repond
